For chocolate lovers who like it dark & intense!

Its long been a dream of ours to create something deliciously decadent that everyone on our beautiful Planet can enjoy without exception.

We make our decadent raw hand made Truffles in our little chocolate kitchen in beautiful rural Northumberland.

Being so small permits us to be 100% hands on in absolutely every step, from sourcing the very best ingredients to hand packing the very last Truffle in the box.

The ethos of Naked & Raw is a simple one, we only use the best raw ingredients, in addition they must be responsibly sourced, farmed & fair-traded. Our packaging is green & recycled. Our truffles taste deliciously decadent but are also allergy freindly & health promoting. We use only 3 raw health boosting ingredients & do not heat above 42c.

We offer you the very best ingredients on the planet, we keep them raw the way Mother nature offers them to us. We honour these precious ingredients with love & respect &  offer them to you with the same heart felt intention (because we’re nice & we Love you!)

Its taken us some time to perfect such a lofty ideal,  but we’re pretty sure we’ve created a Truffle that anyone can gobble up in a greedy frenzy (oh sorry that’s probably just me!) knowing its also doing them good.

No gluten, No dairy, No processed sugar, No additives, No soya, Nothing Nasty or unnatural,  absolutely diddly squat,  zero – completely Naked & Raw healthful ingredients.

At last you can get your Chocolate fix in a healthy way!

Naturally vegetarian & vegan friendly xx

The Arriba Nacional Raw Cacao we use is grown in mineral rich volcanic soil at high elevation in Ecuador. The Cacao trees are wild grown and tended to organic standards in this unpolluted natural forest garden. The wild Cacao is watered by rain or spring water.

This organic raw Cacao is harvested by Ecuadorian farmers, then processed by hand in small batches.  The result is some of the finest Cacao you will ever encounter on our beautiful planet.

After harvesting, the beans are sun dried (not roasted)

The Cacao nibs are stone ground to  produce raw Cacao paste (this is what we use) with further stone grinding the oil (Cacao Butter) is released and the remaining Cacao mass is gently milled to become Cacao powder.

This is a potent super food in its purest form.

A single cacao bean contains healthy fibre, protein including arginine, glutamine and leucine,  polyphenols, flavonols & proanthocyanins, minerals including magnesium, iron, copper and phosphorus.

In the cultures of South America, people eat wild crafted Cacao to connect with the universe. It is a deeply spiritual experience.

This truly is a gift from the Gods, a precious treasure to be revered & shared with your Loved ones, Family & Friends.

We use the most amazingly delicious Coconut oil, its wet milled also known as Centrifuged Coconut oil, from a Sustainable Grassroots Community Development that Works with farmers to ensure they get fair prices for their Coconuts.

Wet milled or centrifuged coconut oil is produced from wet coconuts in much the same way as cream is made from milk. The fresh organic coconuts are shelled and passed through a cold press to obtain the coconut milk which is spun at high speeds and separated from the water so that the oil can be collected from the top.

It means that the oil is produced very quickly from the freshly picked coconuts, quite often in less than 12 hours without heat so that the nutrients remain as close to what is found in the actual coconut.

We use large plumptious Medjool Dates

From the primeval banks of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, the date palm has provided an important food and medicinal source throughout the world.

Iron for your blood, fiber for roughage, vitamin A for your eyes, potassium for your heart, B-vitamins & tannins. Essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc are found in dates. Along with vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K. These are just a few of the many nutrients in dates, making them a real health boost. They have a noble history that healers have used for centuries.

People in the Middle East and the Indus Valley used to consume dates as a staple food. It’s a miracle fruit that truly supports us.

Since biblical times, dates were  believed to possess profound healing properties, but only now is science catching up to confirm what our distant ancestors knew. Dates are the perfect healthier, low fat alternative to sugar or processed sweeteners, giving you a vitamin boost at the same time.

Dates are considered to have a Low Glycemic Index

To top it off, this extraordinary fruit is even rumoured to support one’s libido!

The May 28, 2011, issue of “Nutrition Journal” reports a study in which date consumption was tested on diabetics. The study shows that while dates contain high amounts of natural sugars, they are actually a low-glycemic index food and did not significantly raise blood sugar levels after they were eaten.
